João holds a degree in Law from the University of Lisbon, a Masters in Corporate Law from University of Lisbon, and a Post-Graduate in Insolvency Law from the Research Centre for Private Law of the University of Lisbon.

João started his professional career as a tax consultant in a Big4 firm and currently works as Tax Associate in a top tier law firm in Portugal as a tax expert.
