
NOVA Tax Research Lab, knowledge centre established in the Center for Research & Development on Law and Society (CEDIS) of NOVA School of Law, will hold the 4th Annual Conference of the NOVA Tax Research Lab, which will take place in Lisbon, from 9th to 10th of October.
This year’s conference will explore the challenges and opportunities in international taxation considering the ongoing global developments, under the main topic “Taxing, Fast and Slow. A new era in international taxation”.
The conference will include a series of discussions on topics such as:
• The implementation of the OECD Pillars,
• The UN Model Tax Convention and global tax governance,
• The future of the taxation of the digital economy,
• Geopolitics and taxation, including tariffs, sanctions, and fiscal instruments.
