Catarina is a legal counsel at the Portuguese Insurers Association. Her previous experience was also in the financial sector, in insurance law and compliance in financial institutions. She is also a Research Assistant at the Portucalense Legal Institute.

She holds a law degree from the University of Lisbon and a master’s degree in Enterprise and Labour Law from ISCTE. Her research focused on tax compliance and tax offences in financial institutions.
