Mariana Rodrigues Brito

Advanced Master in International Tax Law at the University of Amsterdam-IBFD (2020-2021) and post-graduated in Public Administration by Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV).

An experienced lawyer with the Brazilian tax system, working as a National Treasury Attorney since 2009. During her career, she was engaged in several leading and management

positions, coordinating teams and projects. She also has provided legal assistance on public bidding for the Finance Ministry in Brasília-DF.

In 2020, she assisted the Brazilian Delegation to the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva, Switzerland, during the negotiations of the multilateral framework on investment facilitation for development. Currently, she works at a Special Division of the National Treasury Attorney’s office, dealing with the most strategic litigation cases, especially those with the most significant financial impact, including international tax matters.
