Miguel started his professional career as a tax practitioner in Big4 firms and worked as a qualified lawyer in top tier law firms in Portugal as a tax expert. Currently, as a tax lawyer based in Lisbon, Miguel focuses his practice on international tax law and wealth planning across Portugal and Switzerland.

He holds a degree in Law, a master’s degree focused on Tax Litigation & Dispute Resolution and a Postgraduate diploma on International Tax & Cross-border transactions awarded by Católica University (Lisbon). Miguel has also successfully completed the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT) issued by Chartered Institute of Taxation in the UK (CIOT).
