Gonçalo holds a degree in Law from Nova School of Law and completed the taught-component of the Master’s degree in Law in Management also from Nova School of Law.

Gonçalo worked at Deloitte Portugal during 5 years as a Tax Consultant and Tax Senior Consultant, focusing his practice in personal income tax, social security, global mobility, compensation and benefits. Gonçalo has also been working in the private client sector.

In 2023, Gonçalo was an Advisor to the Secretary of State for Tax Affairs in the XXIII Government of Portugal.

Since 2024, Gonçalo is a Tax Manager of the People Advisory Services’ department at EY, where he provides tax services to corporate and individual clients, focused on personal income tax and social security matters.
