André Sobral is currently based in Oporto. He holds degrees in Law and in Business and Accounting, as well as a Master’s in Finance.

Since 2021, he has been working in tax law. He is currently a Senior Tax Consultant at Deloitte, focusing mainly on corporate tax matters.

Despite the technical and regulatory aspects of taxation, he maintains a strong interest in the broader societal and normative dimensions of tax systems—specifically, the legal and ethical foundations sustaining the legitimacy of taxation and the socio-economic implications of tax policy measures.
